same here – there is a time when it is wonderful – and on that note – for a while I followed a “sepia Saturday” challenge and realized how much I disliked sepia – blah! too m much of it – and maybe it is smiler to black and white – their is a time for it…
In the first photo it looks as if the people in the background are walking on water because the sand easily looks like the foam on the waves. 🙂

Great black and white conversions on such colorful images. Well done.
I like the coloured version of the first one but the bnw of the second one.
I much prefer color for the first but in the second, the b&w gives a really different feel, so both are lovely.
