The abbey and its hall made the little city of Lorsch famous and a UNESCO world heritage site, but there is also a nice market place with a lovely fountain and a beautiful townhall.

What a lovely and inviting place. The red and white on the building is so skillfully done! I love the sculptures, especially the little boy playing with his marbles. And the birds on the fountain is another beautiful detail. What is the woman doing with the leaves?
Many thanks for sharing this charming town with All Seasons! Have a beautiful week Traudel!
She is harvesting tobacco. I guess, she does something to the middle rip of the leave. Our area used to be famous for tobacco.
Thank you for explaining – growing tabacco is a new thing for me. But Dan Antion’s blog (Thurs. Doors) wrote about it one time, and now you. Learn so much from bligging:)
