The Semperoper in Dresden is the venue for the Dresden State Opera. It is named after its architect, Gottfried Semper, who built it between 1871 and 1878 in the Neo-Renaissance style on behalf of King John. After its destruction in 1945, the Semperoper was reconstructed from 1977 to 1985.

That’s a remarkable building!
It is the townhall of Hof in Bavaria.
