We travelled along the Portugese coast. We stayed over night high above the sea in the West Algarve. There was a scent in the air, familiar but I couldn’t name it. And I couldn’t find a plant with this scent. It was just in the air – everywhere. Going to a beach restaurant there were many dishes with coriander. That was it – coriander. I have learned something new: the national herb of Portugal is coriander.

How interesting to smell the aroma of coriander! I’m not sure if know what it smells like either. Got your link just fine through WordPress, thanks!
So interesting…I think I need to go to my spice cabinet because I can’t remember what it smells like
Hmmm…now I must go and smell it as well!
Portugal is really worth a visit.
I used to follow a woman who posted from Portugal. I loved that blog. But she just stopped without a word.
Is it Becky with the squares? She also blogs about Portugal.
No, her name was Katy.
So its somebody else.
