The Fürstenzug in Dresden is a larger-than-life picture of a cavalcade, applied to around 23,000 tiles made of Meissen porcelain. Te 102 meters long picture is the largest porcelain mural in the world.

For some reason, I don’t recall this from my visits to Dresden…..
It impressed me the most, but I haven’t been inside anything exept the Frauenkirche.
Wow what an amazing display it is! I cannot imagine how long it took to put it together.
I was very impressed.
Very interesting shots. Both are good yet different. Nice take on the challenge.
Wow. Great perspectives. Obviously, it survived the WWII Dresden fire-bombing, despite the castle being reduced to a roofless shell. I couldn’t find anything more specific.
Beautiful mural and history!
