Doors of Blankenheim

After the slackening of the Corona restrictions, we explore the German countryside and drive to the source of the Ahr in the Eifel.

The Ahr is a tributary of the Rhine. The tiny town is heaven for door lovers. There are so many, I will do another post next week.

  1. What beauties! Long live the Ahr!

*I love the face ceramic atop the 4th door.
    * I wonder if the red/brick color frame is meant for god luck? Lots of doors have it.
    * Is that a kitty door? On the little gray one 🙂 How sweet!!

    Thank you 🙂

  2. Wonderful collection! It sure feels good to get out a bit doesn’t it?
The gray one with the mini cat door was the one that caught my eye the most this week.
