Doors of Colonia Guell

Built by the famous industrial Eusebi Güell and designed by none other than his closest friend, the illustrious artist Antoni Gaudí, Colonia Güell lays hidden away in the Barcelona Hills. The Colònia was put into operation in 1890, expanded in the following years and produced, until its closure as a result of an economic crisis in 1973, textiles. In the Colonia Guell built accommodation and services for the factory workers.
