  1. Welcome back to XDrive Sessions once again.

    Great take on the “sharpness” topic. It looks like a cloudy day and perfect for such shots. Right settings have been used to get the sharply focused subject. However, I see the bird needed some breathing space on the right. Yes, the bird is in somewhat awkward position, but still needs the space. Also, I would shoot this from a still lower angle and avoid that another bird in the background. Like the smooth whiteness and the exposure on the feathers!

    1. Thanks a lot. I cropped this picture to a square due to part of other birds on the left. But you are right I could have given more space to the right – don’t know why I didn’t… There is more water to the right. I changed it in my shoebox and it looks much better. I really appreciated your critique.

      1. Thank you very much, another advise try to avoid the square crops. Our eyes generally appreciate those rectangular ones, and one can fit things better there!
