Bench Series # 34: August: Colorful Benches
My eyes got twisted… Sometimes I didn’t even recognize them as benches. The Giardino dei Tarocchi was created by Nici St. Phalle in the south of Tuscany and certainly worth a visit.

The only hope for some relaxation time is that the view from these benches is not on other benches but into the garden. 🙂
Lol!
Not sure about the first one, that is a little creepy! But how amazing to find these. If you hadn’t told me Italy I’d have gone for Gaudi again. Very beautifully created and I love the second one, love the stained glass-like jewel colours and I spy a pretty ellie in the background…
You are right, I haven’t seen him!
Wow!! Love these pictures!!
These are a little torturous on the eyes!
Beautiful Benches
Amazing! Funny how Gaudi gets so much attention yet I’ve never heard of this guy. (but I do absolutely love Gaudi 🙂 )
I love both – Gaudi and Nici St Palle. Gaudi is the Spanish guy from Barcelona. And Nici a French Swiss artist grown up in the States.
Wow, these are definitely unusual, and brain jolting!
We had a marvellous Nicci St Phalle exhibition in Glasgow last year. Our modern art gallery has some mosaics by her above the entrance too. Fabulous benches!
Amazing love the bright colours so perfect for this months challenge
They are so beautiful, colourful and great shapes as well!
